three ???

Since it's the second time this has gone around why not.

got this from a couple people:

I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less.

Ask me anything you want. I reserve the right to answer any way I please.

Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

1: pulp or blur?
2: your least favorite coworker is?
3: jukebox, dj or band? which one?
Apr. 14th, 2004 05:56 pm (UTC)
1. Pulp! Because I want to live like Common People! but I love both bands... it was almost a hard decision but Commom People is so good.

2. Catherine drives me insane. I'm still bitter about Dana.

3. Band definitely. Music is more special when you can't rewind and replay a song. I hate it when I go to a concert and it sounds just like the album. If I wanted to listen to the album I would have saved my money and had better drinks at home. I loved seeing Nina Simone because she never does the same thing twice ever... and I love it when she just starts singing Bob Marley in the middle of another song!

3: im kinda torn between juke and band.

You have very good answers for #2... but I sold my soul to April, she GAVE me a copy of Soundtrack, ever since then I try to be extra understanding as well as tone deaf, very tone deaf. She really deserves to have her own office, I think everyone in the building would agree.

1. brunettes, blondes or redheads?

2. do you sometimes make up names for yourself that you use in certain situations and if so, what are they (i.e. when i make reservations i always give my middle name eric or in a german class i took once i insisted the professor call me muffin)?

3. anne rice, stephen king or clive barker?

Apr. 14th, 2004 07:06 pm (UTC)
1. Brunettes. I also really like salt n pepper and shaved heads. I don't think I have ever dated a blond or redhead, not that I wouldn't, I just haven't.

2.In my Spanish classes I was Enrique. in Japanese Classes I was Eriku and nicknamed by the exchange students Saru... Monkey. Lots of people actually call me Monkey and Monk. I normally just go by Eric or Monkey... but if you ever ask me who did something... I'm bound to tell you Steve... He was my imaginary "blame it on guy" for years, but I can't use it as much anymore since my current boss is named Steve.

Who invented the bomb and dropped it on Hiroshima.... why, Steve of course.

3. Stephen King. my favorite books ever are the Dark Tower Series. I never got into his horror writing. I have the newest Dark Tower and the last book in the vampire chronicles waiting to be read.

1. i agree with you 100%, although i have dated blondes, they're really not my type. i will admit to wondering what it would be like to have sex with a guy who had red pubes, but that's just between you and me... wait... i guess now it isn't... oops!

2. i've only done drag once and i used the name kailene... what's your drag name (don't tell me you don't have one cause i won't believe you)?

3. anne rice was my favorite in high school (makes sense considering my social group). i then moved on to clive barker (he's just perverted). now i can't really say i like any of them any more... *sigh*
Apr. 14th, 2004 07:58 pm (UTC)
What I did, I'm not sure if it can really be called drag... it was more of a Edward Scissor hands hooker in mourning. I have been dubbed Miss Bliss by Extra Gay Jay's drag persona Jazmean. But Jazmean calls me Bliss no matter what... well Bliss or Trash.

Not related, but, what does this the itunes thing mean with the links to Daft Punk? Does it mean if I have quicktime that it will play Daft Punk? So far it's just frozen my computer- which is a shitty PC.
Apr. 14th, 2004 07:14 pm (UTC)
If you have iTunes installed on your Mac or PC, clicking on the link will open the song in iTunes and let you listen to a clip of it to decide if you want to buy it for 99 cents. ITunes also allows you to rip and play mp3s. It's kind of dangerous because it legal and they download in seconds. It's how I discovered the snake river conspiracy cover of Lovesong by the cure. For 99 cents it beats buying the whole album when you just want the one song.

Sorry it froze your machine. I wondered what would happen if you didn't have iTunes installed. If I get a chance I will inform the developer.

I have quicktime/itunes installed but this computer is crap. Had a virus, the blaster one, and has never been the same.
I love the cure.

1) Are you now, or have you ever been a member of any kind of geek-related or obsessive-esque group (possible groups: roleplaying, book clubs, scrapbooking, stamp collecting, birdwatching)?

2) If you could eat only one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?

3) Beach or Countryside?
Apr. 15th, 2004 12:54 pm (UTC)
1. I did was really into RPG when I was in high school but haven't done much since then, everyone I played with went there separate ways. I have millions of geeky obsessions, I'm very obsessive but only for a short period of time before I get board.
One that has lasted a long time is my photo albums. I shoot my photos normally to be presented in albums to really preserve the moment. some contain ripped pictures, bloody pieces of plastic, I even have a peel away black dot on a very nice naughty picture of the army boy I had a crush on for so long. My albums defiantly look like they were put together by an insane person, because they were. Sadly I have had to give up making new ones... I have over 40 and I just don't have room for any more.
My main geek-related obsession now is just Mac computers. I get a hold of old ones and fix them up and give them away for cheep or free. Usually it some poor computerless person at Amoeba.

2. Chicken Tikka Massala! I really wouldn't mind eating it three times a week. More often than that and I would probably lose my love for it.

3. I would have to say Beach... when I say beach I mean like a southern California beach with nice sand and trees not the rocky cold (if you go in the water you die) beach like San Francisco beaches. I grew up riding my bike to the beach, It's something I miss up here. The beaches up here really aren't the same to me.

1.What do you do when you feel depressed?

2. If there was a film made about your life, who would you want to play you?

3. When was your last "What is the meaning of life?" moment?
Apr. 15th, 2004 11:29 pm (UTC)
1. I throw things away. I clean. sometimes I listen to sad music and revel in the sadness.

2. hmmm I would say Blake Harper but I'm not so sure about his acting ability. so I guess I will say Seth Green... he can do anything, especially me!

3. I would have to say that the new sensitive Brawny adds have made me question the meaning of life... OK maybe not. I think the last time I pondered the meaning of life would have after reading an article about gay marriage. The meaning of life for me is not to have a ton of kids... for me it's to improve the world around me and have a good time while doing it.

Mmmmm. Seth Green.
