Trying to get back on my feet!

So much has been going on lately so much that begs to be reported, remembered, journaled. if I don't write things down quickly they blur in my mind and I make up new ways to fill the gaps.

I enjoyed Portland. I had fun going to the Party at Diesel. I got to meet traylordean's best friend Aaron who was very cool! She hooked me up with some free stuff. but Let me tell you the bad things. What happens when a Monkey is hanging out in a designer store that he has never bought anything from before, drinking beers with tons of very sexy men and women. he can't just stand and people watch and mingle. no he drinks beers quickly and because they are free he doesn't keep count. Lack of dinner. makes him stupid and he puts a bunch of clothes on his credit card. How could I pass up a shirt with a drill on it!

When I flew back I had to finish making the movie for Tom's Dad's 80th birthday party. I did quite a bit of drinking of Crown and 7 at that party. I get very nervous when so many people are going to look at my work especially if I think people I don't know my talk to me about it. Besides the 40 minute movie I also became and iPod DJ for the 75 person party. Luckily I didn't have to get up and say anything.

Everything went really well. I didn't have to DJ very long before everybody was talking so loud it didn't matter. Italian's are a very loud people! The movie went over very well, I did get lots of compliments from people I had never met before. Christian, one of Tom's nephews got so emotional he had to leave for a few minutes to compose himself. Italian's are also an emotional people. All the grand kids got up and gave great speeches. Rene gave a really emotional thank you for welcoming her into the family and never treating her or her kids as if they weren't blood, with tears rolling down her face. I feel very much the same way. Tom has an amazing family.

I dream of a chance to relax but I know there isn't going to be time for that. I have a quick respite this weekend but next week I head down to LA for my parents St. Patrick's Day party in Long Beach. my birthday is coming up and I really want to have a big party. I haven't had a party at my place... errr, really ever! I have moved five times and have never had a housewarming party and I can't remember the last birthday party I had, must have been when I lived with my parents. Any Party ideas are greatly welcome. and of course you are all welcome to come too. but It's not until April 23. I just want to plan these things early! I want to leave my 20's with a bang!

I bought a Diesel shirt. It's the first shirt I ever paid more than $25 for... and it shrunk. It's a good thing I usually buy baggy clothes. But that's the last time I buy a designer shirt :(

I went through a short faze of wanting clothes tight, glad that's over with. If I am going to pay over $35 for a shirt It better be really cool, and I better not see anyone else ever wearing it! luckily everything i bought at diesel was %50 off. I probably wouldn't have bought as much if i didn't have all those beers though!

i love portland. tis nice. did you walk around downtown? i just love how the whole town is laid out like a little geographical english countryside grid. ;-)

i went on a Wine Tour of the countryside in one of those Wine Tour Vans and it was just so beautiful... so serene and pretty and crisp. i miss it.

you know what they say when the mice are away, they drink a lot of beer and crown! I stuck to stark street area since that was where my work, hotel and everything was. I didn't have a car so I just sort of wandered around. it was a ton of fun! I want to go back to really experience Portland.

wine tasting! yum! I want to have a wine tasting party. I have so much wine and since tom doesn't drink much wine it never gets opened. wine for one is a sad thing. Almost as sad as wine in a box.

Yay! St Patrick's Day party!
Green eggs, green beer, and guys running down the street... naked... for some reason or another in the middle of the night.

Ah, St Patrick's Day. The one day a year a chubby Asian kid who wears shorts year round gets to be Irish.
