Five things you may not know about me.

I clap. I clap a lot. I clap whenever I hear something I like. It's sort of
pavlovian. Some people tease me because I really don't even know I'm doing
it. "Monkey, Can I bring you a coke?" "Yes" *baby claps-big smile*

I was toe headed as a child.

Some of the hair in my beard is red.

I love organizing things, but am still kind of messy.

I don't like Coffee. Beer is not my cup of tea either.

What, no coffee??!
Nov. 16th, 2003 01:28 pm (UTC)
Don't you think if I drank coffee we would have met by now? I've stopped into Tully's a few times but you have never been there... unless you grew boobies!
Nov. 16th, 2003 02:57 pm (UTC)
I have NO boobies!

Really? I WAS in the Castro Tullys 5-6 days a week from about 5am-1pm everyday!

Now I'm over in Noe Valley.

You should stop in sometime. We do have other things sides coffee..

I don't think any of the times I've been in there have ever been in the AM or anytime close to the AM. Are you in Noe Valley the same hours? If so it won't be on a weekday.

Nov. 16th, 2003 01:29 pm (UTC)
Wow another German who doesn't LOVE beer. You never cease to amaze me!
Nov. 16th, 2003 01:32 pm (UTC)
:) I can't stand beer.

If you tell me you're a vegetarian, I'll scream!
Nov. 16th, 2003 01:40 pm (UTC)
No. But I was a vegetarian for almost 10 years. ;)
Nov. 16th, 2003 01:46 pm (UTC)
At least I know you weren't a virgin until you were 40!
Nov. 16th, 2003 02:04 pm (UTC)
What's this hostility to vegetarians I'm detecting here? ;)
Nov. 16th, 2003 07:28 pm (UTC)

Sorry, It's not meant to be directed at Vegetarians. Some Of my best friends are vegetarians and some of the best restaurants in SF are Vegetarian.

I just had a bad experience with a man I slept with who was a German Vegetarian who didn't drink. He also didn't tell me he was virgin until he wasn't anymore. Then he thought I was his boyfriend. Unlike the route you wisely took with your student, I tried to be nice, ignore things and tried very hard not to hurt his feelings. I seemed to be getting trampled and put out on a weekly basis. I let him come and stay at my house when he visited the states and he kicked my roommate's cat and made my roommates late for work for a couple of weeks. I Eventually got so mad I didn't care about his feelings anymore since he didn't seem to care about other people's feeling.

Of course I must put the disclaimer here that I know even if you were vegetarian and still a virgin you would still be 1000 times more pleasant than Matthias. I was just knee-jerk reacting to similarities. It seems almost every German person I have met LOVES beer and look confused when you say Vegetarian. I honestly have no idea how Matthias could live in a small town in Germany and be Vegetarian.

No kidding. Being a vegetarian makes you subject to far more discrimination than being gay. I know, because I was both. Still am the latter.

G'Morning! What does Chay think of you Coffee Repulsion, he is after all a dealer!

I have to agree coffee flavored ice cream is a tool of the Devil!
Nov. 16th, 2003 03:04 pm (UTC)
I prefer "purveyor" not "dealer."

Good afternoon to both of you.. heh.
Nov. 16th, 2003 10:18 am (UTC)

Maybe sometime we could go to a yummy German restaurant that's somewhat near you house that does have some beer that I actually like... to bad I'm completely plastered after only one.

i may not clap, but i've got a HUGE laugh (more like a guffaw).

what is toe headed?

some of the hair on my head is blonde and that blonde always looked a bit grey (i usually dye it black anyway).

i love organizing things so much i'm going to make a profession of it (library archival & information specialist). i'm still a big slob at home...

sometimes nothing hits the spot better than a cup of black sickly sweet coffee. mocha is NOT coffee. i only like my beer dark and bitter.

that's my take on all your statements...
Nov. 16th, 2003 01:44 pm (UTC)
Toe headed means I had white hair as a child. It eventually turned blond then a reddish brown and now it's quite a dark brown... with a few grays here and there.

When I worked at tower I was in charge of the Blank Tapes for a while. It really appealed to my love of organization and Legos.

Maybe you should to an audio post of your Guffaw!

What is toe-headed?

5 things about me...

1. I was in Honors English in HS, but have not gone to college yet. I guess that is more of a comment about my spelling skills - they are deteriorating quickly!

2. I am the shortest person in my entire family - I get it from my dad, who is not really a member of our family.

3. I got so sick on Gin in 6th grade that, to this day, I can't smell it without getting sick to my stomach.

4. My biggest pet peeve is dirty fingernails.

5. As a child I had a collick(cowlick) and now I don't.
Nov. 16th, 2003 01:52 pm (UTC)
Toe-headed is when you have such light blond hair it's actually white. As you can tell My hair got darker.

Hee hee, I'm the tallest, which seems quite odd since I only ate junk until I was in college. In fact I didn't break 5' until my Junior year of High School. I grew almost a foot in that year.

6th grade! Wow you are a little troublemaker aren't you!

I'm not sure what my biggest pet peeve is but I know I hate watching someone chew on their fingernails.

My brother had a completely uncontrollable collick, it was just representing his personality.
Nov. 16th, 2003 02:04 pm (UTC)
Ahh. Ok. My brother is Toe-headed, too, then. When we were kids his hair was so blonde that in the summer it would turn white and we would call him 'cotton top'. = ) It's gotten darker, now - but is still pretty blonde. Yours got really dark.

When I was a Senior in HS I signed up to talk to an Army Recruiter. I went and took their test and then they checked my weight and height. I had grown an inch and didn't know it..I had always been 5'2" through HS but when he checked my height I was 5'3"!! I was so excited (Senior, remember - though I guess I haven't changed THAT much) that I started jumping up and down. Needless to say - They didn't call me back....

I was quite the trouble maker = ) I've calmed down alot!
