The seemed determined to keep me even though I would only get paid for 5 of the 20 days the case was going to last and I have a Ticket to the UK in the last week of the trial. The trial was all about cancer andd asbestos and happy things like that. The best part of the day was when we were asked if we knew any of the witnesses, Jurror number seven raised his hand. He said he knew one of the MDs mentioned. When asked how he knew the man, he answered, thathe was one of his witnesses in an asbestos trial he was defense for a few years ago, "I'm not sure how I got this far" he added. It seems that a lot of people had to keep coming back even though there was no way they should/could be on the jurry.
