Best of 2008 Photo Galleries.

Wheeeew. Last night I finally finished narrowing down my photos from 2008 to just the best ones. I couldn't get them all to fit into one Apple iPhoto-book... or even two. I had to make three. I condensed them down even more to create a web version. sadly I had to leave off a few photos that I were great but I felt other people wouldn't necessarily appreciate the photos of them being on the web. on that note if there is a picture I have put up of you that you would like me to removes, please let me know.

Warning each Gallery is 500 pictures... over 10 pages.
Best of 2008 Gallery 1

Best of 2008 Gallery 2

ewe_2 please make sure you check out page 7 of gallery 2. you mentioned you liked me without the moustache better... what about the pictures halfway down ;-)

I'm getting very anxious to see grubbybastard in the Inaugural Parade.

Please note some photos of me were not taken by me... but sadly a majority of them were actually taken by me. Tom loves to tease me about taking photos of myself, but if I didn't, who would. Lets face it I'm constantly changing. A friend on this list hit on me recently even though we have met a few times. He just didn't recognize me. I was so shocked that I didn't even respond. I think I just stared blankly.

I was thinking of you when I said I would remove photos if asked... but I think the one of you with antlers is my favorite photo of the year.

I would also like to point out that there are some really great photos of you in there as well. If we could just get you to pose with more or less than one finger per hand... we could turn you into a top model. Tall, Blond, thin and with a cocktail in hand!

You are ridiculously photogenic. Or, you're just plain hot. I'm guessing it's both.

It was an enjoyable way to spend some time looking through all your photos from the past year. 365 days to go until the next batch. I can't wait to see what adventures 2009 brings.

You're making me blush. Thank you. I don't think of myself as being hot. I've just taken so many photos of myself that I know what faces to make.

I was a bit worried people would get bored looking at photos of people they didn't' know. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I really hope 2009 I get some pictures of you and Rochus. Maybe you two should take a trip to SF since New Zealand is on hold.

Thanks again for making me blush.

We are about 95% sure we'll go to New Zealand in May. Not ideal from weather perspective. But, it still should be okay. As long as he has a job by then, we'll go.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out something inexpensive to do for his spring break in March. Since in all likelihood he still won't have a contract for next school year by then. I've got some ideas rolling around in my head. I'm just not sure SF is cheap enough.

You are hot.

First, this was an amazing set of photos. It's a good reminder to me that even tho 2008 has been challenging in many ways, there have also been a lot of good times.

Second, I must have missed the whole Dr. Who museum (or whatever that was) before. What and where is it? The photos are great fun. I suspect Jey and I are going overseas sometime in 2009 (or 2010 at the latest), and I want that stop on our agenda.

Lastly... You don't think of yourself as hot? Really? I've had a crush on you since the moment I first met you. Take another look at DSC_0257 if you need convincing. I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw that one. :)

Yes 2008 definitely had it's up and downs. We really had quite a few great boys nights.

The Doctor Who Museum is in London. We were there on opening day which was a weekday so it was almost empty. It was so much fun. http://www.doctorwhoexhibition.com/earls.html if you do decide to go to London I can give you my cheat-sheet with places to stay/eat/shop/visit.

I think I was so awkward, unproportioned, painfully thin, and just a huge geek for so long that it's nearly impossible to think of myself as being hot. I don't think I'm ugly anymore (believe me I was not attractive in high school) I was voted most changed at my 10 year reunion. I'll have to take another look at that picture. Thank you for the compliments... what are you trying to do give me and ego?

I'm pretty sure you just like me for my personality.

Okay, so I can *completely* sympathize with your PoV. I've been working my way through a struggle of thinking of myself as attractive for much the same reasons. It's hard for me to see myself as anything other than the awkward geek I grew up as.

As for what I like about you, you're the TP, honey. :)

I will definitely let you know when we get serious about planning a London trip. Right now I need to focus on getting Jey back to work full time (still recovering from knee surgery) and accruing some vacation time. ...not to mention my own work has slowed a bit of late.

I've only looked through album 2 so far.

I loved the merecats (spelling?)
The huge spider was awesome though I am afraid of them.
3230 is a great photo of you and Tom.
Derreck looks great. I must have an old email for him. It keeps getting returned.
0176 is hysterical. LOL
I have to ask. Is 0058 your mom? I see something similar with the eyes.
I love 03823. You look like you had quite a day.
And 0041 is nice.

And how is kitty doing?

I didn't see what you refered to on ppage 7. But I like you with scruff. But not the curls.

Jan. 26th, 2009 10:26 pm (UTC)
Thanks. Yes 0058 is my mom. In 3823 I had just gotten off a plane to Pittsburgh and was steadying myself for a bunch of crazy doll collectors. A nice Manhattan was just what I needed.

John's doing OK. I don't think he is going to hang on for much longer. He has a good day then a bad day, but he's steadily getting worse. Luckily he doesn't seem to be in any pain or we would ease him out.

I guess you couldn't make out the curls in 0257 on page 7.

Your mom and dad look like wonderful people. The photo in album 2, page 7, number 3145 is a wonderful shot of you with your parents.

I still can't match the number to the picture you're referring to.
