Inspired by... shit

Last year while in London Tom an I went to the Tate to see the Gilbert and George exhibit. There were parts of it the I love and of course parts that I loathed. Some of them I thought were genius while others I equated to LCD shock art of Howard Stern. After the show Tom and I discussed doing a piece in our living room in the style of the mid-eighties Gilbert and George, using the limited color palette and dividing frames. We would not be including there signature elements of shit piss, blood or spunk. Now the Gilbert and George show is coming to the De Young here in San Francisco. I really need to get on this project and finish before the end of the year. I’ll post a picture of the finished piece.

That sounds so cool. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I had no idea of whom you were speaking (which kinda surprises me since I used to be an art major and would have thought that I would have) so I googled them and found this article (with videos) that explained nearly everything. At first I thought it was going to be about the artist who had placed a crucifix in a jar of urine but of course it wasn't which I should have known since I doubt you'd be into that kind of statement.
