OMG, WTF, R U Stupid?

Your office is in a building with other companies, you have to know a access code to get into your section of the office. Someone is coming up to see you and you don't want this person to have to wait and have the receptionist buzz them up... What would you do? If you were one coworker of mine, you would write the code in BIG numbers with a note saying use this code to get into the office and sign you name! So everybody who walked by or was in the elevator when the doors opened on the floor, would see the access code. The only way we have to keep employees of other companies from coming into our office after hours is now public knowledge. The fact that the note was up there all day blows my mind! I also can’t believe she was so dumb to write here name... I guess she really didn’t see anything wrong about giving our code to every passerby.

I know I’m just overacting, nobody in the city would steal. People are good, and don’t steal from companies.

My father's office building has the same sort of scheme, except the access code is to the whole building. There are so many dumbasses who just post the damn access code right by the door with their names. My dad and I always rip the signs down and sometimes I go over mind fuck the idiots who did it (with their subpar intelligence, it's not a hard feat.)

Sometimes I wonder how people can be so stupid...

btw, small question - which program do you use to update your journal? (I ask specifically regarding the way in which you put up the music you're listening to, as the only solutions I can think in my mind to automatically do that just aren't effort-appealing to my mind.)

I use Xjournal on the Mac. It automatically checks what I'm listening to and inserts it into my journal... no work at all. I don't know which PC client would do this but I'm sure one of them does it.

I currently use iJournal, but the feature list on Xjournal seems pretty nice.

I'll use it for a few days, see if it grows on me. =)

one of the main reasons we don't have a security access code system where i work is because the upper ups decided that it would cause more problems than it would solve. knowing some of the people that i work with, i can't say i completely disagree...
