Today is my two year Aniversary with LJ

So maybe I should get off my but and post a real post. there has just been so much going on lately. i've barely had time to do anything because I've been doing everything.

I went to see Peaches on Friday, the show was amazing. I laughed so hard. She really pulled off her fake blood stunt really well during Rock N Roll and the Duet with Iggy Pop was brilliant. I didn't think she would do it. i have to agree with _kaiser_, The backup dancers were brilliant! After the show Kim, Melissa, and I went for drinks at the Metro. Poor michael couldn't go to the show, at least we could visit him and tell him how it was.

Saturday I ran around with Tom and Michelle, we bought Lord of the Rings Risk! We played it for six hours, it was so much fun. Michelle and I were evil, while Tom was good. I decimated middle earth with my evil armies... unfortunately It was not enough. I tried hard to find the fellowship and stop them from throwing the ring into mount doom. So I had taken over most of middle earth, I still did not have the shire or the ring. I can't wait to play again!

Sunday, I helped my friend Jeannie (the best thing to come out of my relationship with Randy) with her eMac. She is so amazing, she turns 70 this year and yet she has her own website, designs newsletter on her mac, and has no fear of technology whatsoever. I set her up with a better email account and fixed a problem she had with sending email. I am trying to talk her into getting a .mac account so she can share her movies easier. She has someone in her building or on her buildings network who has the same last name as me and is totally gay. how do I know this, because i was showing her some of the stuff in itunes and there was his name in the share music... and he had big gay music! Cher, Abba, Morrissey, and a whole lot of disco!

After I left Jeannie's, I had a ton of cleaning to catch up on, I had slight trouble with the new Vacuum... I let it get overly full and when I went to empty it... it exploded all over the place. which was not so good for my allergies which have been unbearable the last week or so. I'm finally up to full concentration (shots) and john scratched me the day before I got the shots.

The Washing Machine has been broken and full of water for over two weeks so I finally broke down and went to a Laundromat to do Laundry with Tom last night. I like doing Laundry from the comfort of my own home... i can do it while watching TV. Tom hates it so much, I almost wish he didn't feel the need to help when I go to the Laundromat, but I do enjoy his company. i think my two favorite household chores are Laundry and vacuuming... I hate cooking and taking out the trash; dishes, I don't really mind.

A lot of my time has been taken up by Champions of Norath on PS2. i now officially have too many games i haven't finished. I still have Balders gate Dark alliance 2, Zelda Windwalker, Pokemon Sapphire (for the last couple of months i just been wandering around, I don't even remember what my goal was!), I have the new Castlevania but i haven't even opened it since i need to finish some of these other games.

It's also been busy at work. My co-desktop support guy has been out, So i've been doing lots of PC stuff, and the barracuda woman has been causing drama again. She made on of my friends to cry at work! Of course since she has the HR person in her pocket, nothing has really been made of it yet. but My friend went to the HR person in Salt Lake. Barracuda woman's  behavior is so beyond unacceptable and yet she constantly gets away with it. I hope she doesn't get away with it this time, but It seems like HR in this company just covers their own butts and that's it.

Oh yeah, I had a Baby Ruth today!

heh .. I have Pokemon Sapphire also .. and I got all the way to seven badges, and then lost my guidebook. I have no idea where I am even. I can fly around, but I don't remember where the eighth gym is or where to find the final four after that (or if I'm even strong enough).

I have two computer games for my new PC .. I got Temple of Elemental Evil (because I *loved* that module series from original D&D!) and the Civ3 expansion thingy that lets you go online. I expect my weekends to be very, very packed with useless hours. ;)

Oh, and congrats on two years of LJ. ;)

Thanks!

I think I only have 5 badges... I just can't figure out how to get any of my pokemon to surf me over to the other lands... I probably end up looking for a walk through online.

I love D&D type games. I still have my intelivison with two different AD&D video games. I was able to find one that I was able to play on my computer but not the other one... and every now and then I actually do go back to kill the Minotaur or find the lost crown. I will have to check out Temple of Elemental Evil.

I'd love to go to a Peaches show, I've heard about her performance during "Shake Ur Dicks". I already knew that your comment came from my last entery, I just wanted to if you could elaborate. That's all. Take it easy.

I wrote a long entry about it here:

I was ruled by fear, but luckily I one friend who forced me to face them.

It took me along time before I could go out without my heartbeat going haywire. I had to push myself. the biggest fear for me to get over was driving. I was convinced that if I drove something really bad would happen. Now I drive to work many times a week, even though I really should be walking.

i'm glad you enjoyed the concert. did she do her karaoke version of fuck the pain away for her sf concert? she had the same chicklet come on stage and sing it during both concerts in vancouver (october and last week) and i was wondering if it's a groupie of hers that follows her from town to town (wouldn't that be funny?).

i currently have too many games and books on my plate. let's see... for games, there's ffx-2, ffxi, city of heroes and i just recently bought shadowhearts used for super cheap; for books there's the war of the flowers by tad williams, siouxsie & the banshees: the authorised biography, ararat by clive barker, porno by irvine welsh, and blood and gold by anne rice (they're all fluff, but i don't get a chance to read this sort of stuff very often when i'm taking courses, and yes, i'm reading all of them at the same time).

and one question: did you eat the baby ruth about 15-20 minutes before you wrote your post? you sound like someone with a serious sugar buzz...

She did do the Karaoke, but there were about seven girls on stage... one of them flashed! The first girl she pulled up seemed a little too shocked to have ever been on stage before.

I was addicted to Final Fantasy for the original gameboy, I keep wondering if I should get FFXI it seems like everyone loves it.

I have quite a few books to catch up on as well. I finished blood and gold a while ago and am now reading Blood Canticle, but so far it's not really doing it for me. I also have the new Dark Tower Wolves of the Calla by Steven King. Tom is just finishing The Da Vinci code, and he wants me to read that.

I think I did eat the Baby Ruth about 20 minutes before I wrote the post, but I was rushing because I knew I only had a few minutes before someone came looking for help.

tell me if you decide to invest in ffxi so you can be on the same server as me. i'll help you out with starter equip and other misc. stuff (it doesn't hurt that i have a lvl 40 whitemage either).

if you have a chance when tom's finished with it, check out the da vinci code. it's pretty good.

I would need to get buy the online deal-a-ma-hoober... which is something i have been contemplating. I will definitely let you know. Tom has been telling me everyday for a week that I need to read it when he's done, so I will be reading it soon... probably before I finish the Ann Rice unless it starts to get better really soon.
