All your sanity are belong to us

So much going on, so much to write. i am so far behind in reading everyone's journals, but i have to get some of this out of my head so i can get back to work. If smokers can take breaks for their addiction I can take breaks for my LJ addiction.

I really enjoyed meeting knowyermonkey last night and going to see Die Mommy Die at the Metreon. She is so cool. I can't wait to hang out with her again. Its strange I really do feel like I knew her already and had hung out with here before. I'm really glad we were able to go to a movie that she liked. It's sort of a "Valley of the Dolls" meets meats every freaky mommy dearest, baby Jane, all about eve, nightmare movie. Go see Die mommy Die if it comes to a theater near you!

I am totally infuriated about another issue right now. Matthew Shepard! Rev. Fred Phelps is at it again! As if vying for the title of the most evil man in America, he is using the first amendment to try to build a monument for Matthew Shepard. A 6' tall monument in central park that states: "Matthew Shepard Entered Hell October 12, 1998, at the age 21 in defiance of gods Warning: "thou Shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination" Leviticus 18:22"
I can't believe how people can hide Hate behind Religion and claim to be righteous. The man is Evil, if he died even a gentle death, I would not crate a memorial stating my feelings about him. What is the point.

Last but not least, i am saddened to hear redarius has been called into active duty. my little Eammon has only been out for a year and now I have someone else to worry about over there. redarius has a really good head on his shoulders, i know he will come back , hopefully in one piece. He seams to have numbed his fear seances. I have been putting together my own meme in my head and plan to do this for everyone but for now I will just do it for redarius.

What have I learned from you. Your journal is amazing. You stand for Quality. I try to make my journal worth reading. I've learned a bit of this from you. My journal was pretty bad when I started it, but it improved with time. When I read your journal I realized my journal needed to be a bit higher quality. I adopted some of you philosophies about what to leave out. I was inspired to write about the random thoughts that pop into and out of my mind instead of what I was physically doing each day. Your entries are intelligent and very critically thought out. Logic is your filtering system. I also learned that i should probably not jump a train if I'm wearing white... of course this would have to be before labor day.

You are one of my favorite Sublebrities. Good luck to you, come back with all your body parts, that's an order!

Actually isn't hatred almost always hidden behind religion. It just seems religion should be about harmony and helping. Too bad most religions contain so much corruption.

Hatred and fear hides behind a lot of things. Often I've found my own negative emotions fueling my political actions/speech, then I have to stop and reassess. I think any ideology can fall prey to being a front for denying/sublimating our darker urges. Religion just happens to be very popular, since most Americans are apathetic politically.
