If only Posh lived in SF instead of LA

We had a nice 4.2 quake at 4:42 this morning. It woke Tom and I up but didn't cause enough ruckus to get us out of bed. I still smile when I remember the earthquake that happened when I was living in LA and my brother was freshly back from his stint with the Airforce. he Had been living out of state for a few years and during his first week back we had a pretty big shaker during the wee hours. It was big enough to wake everyone up and get us to rush to stand in the doorways. After the shaking stopped everyone but my brother went back to bed and quickly fell asleep. My brother ran to the living room turned on the TV to hear the reports. The late night reporters did their usual scare tactics about filling the bathtub and drinking out of the back of the toilet in case of water mains being broken. So my brother began to fill up the bathtub. It wasn't until at least 20 minutes into his post earthquake preparedness that he realized he was alone. He yelped, "Where is everybody?" From my bed I yelled, "In bed, trying to sleep. Shut off the bath. You've been gone from california for too long. Go to bed!"
