I really hope he moves away soon.

Decisions, although write_like_krzy makes decisions on whims, I tend to over think, over analyze, and terrify myself into inaction.

Today is our new HR person's first day. In order to properly break her in two people turned in their notice today. One is the wonderful itsolivia. I am so sad to see her go. I am worried how the creative department is going to get along without her. She always did things fast, well and cheap. she never made someone just pick two. the new people that have been replacing the fleeing employees from creative have been greener than a vegetarian crayon set. Now that Olivia is leaving and Ciaran & Bridget have left, I only have a few people to chat with that i truly enjoy their company. I was sent a job opening at a friends company, it would be a significant paycut and I would be changing careers, I don't even know that much about QA. Still the idea excites me. I am going to have to think about it. I would have a path to move up. There is a lot of positive and negative going on. hmmm.

FDG, my cranky coworker worked from home again yesterday, I still don't understand how a support person can work from home. at least without being on the phone the whole time. he called me around 9:30 today to tell me he wasn't coming in today because his neighbor held his niece hostage. He ended the conversation with me, saying... I really hope he moves away soon. yeah, I couldn't agree more with that statement on many levels.

i am tempted to do this next time he works from home.

The funny thing? After I've made a decision out of the blue, I usually overthink the outcome until it's a dead horse.

I'm a software developer, and I don't think I could do QA. Testing has always been my least favorite part of the lifecycle. I want to make things and then let someone else worry about how well they work ;)

How this reminds me, I dunno, but I've been meaning to get SF travel advice.

Who has two thumbs and wants to spend his birthday in SF? This guy!

Hahahaha, that would be so sweet for you to do!

You'd HAVE to take pics, though.

Sorry to see things are going so badly at work for you. Wish I could give you some advice but it's up to you.

Lets see.
Hate present job?
Pay cut?
Be happy at new job?
Can you afford the pay cut?
Will the new job be exciting?
Better location?
Advancement?

A lot of things to consider.

I loved the link. Do you know someone who actually did that? LOL
