Jump the zombie.

I was sitting watching TV, Carol Brady was walking into a large room with Mike Brady and they began putting up crayon drawing by children up on the walls. Carol looks at one and says. “Mike, I don’t think this one is good enough to be in it.” He looks at it, then smirking replies, “No, I think it’s perfect, you haven’t seen the lyrics yet. Oliver is going to love it.” I though to myself, “oh God, a cousin Oliver episode- jump the shark.” Mike and Carol continued to put up the pictures as Mike began to teach Carol the lyrics. Her voice was just as bad as her son’s when his voice began to change. As Carol began to put up some drawing higher I noticed she was wearing a strapless, backless outfit; I had never seen her wear anything so revealing. Then I realized why, she had a huge bruise on her right shoulder-blade; why didn’t makeup touch that up? I kept staring at it an noticed it was much more than a bruise. As she stretched to reach higher her skin moved in a very unnatural way, showing the contour of her muscles beneath. The muscle seemed to snap and separate. It looked like something from “Rubber Johnny”. I was horrified. Then Mike came to give her a helping hand and I noticed his shoulder seemed to separate like a canyon being created in high speed film.

I sat bolt upright. It was dark and my heart was racing. The TV was off and Tom was asleep next to me. Emma who due to her thyroid problem was having a drink like always from her kitty fountain. I took a deep breath and realized I had just been dreaming. A ticking noise started, at first I thought it was Emma and her OCD; she likes to scratch her fountain or the ground a few times before she takes a drink. But this was clicking not scratching and she was just sitting there. Just as I realized this the house took it’s first jolt. Tom sat up, we were both waiting to see where this was going. I grabbed his elbow. The house continued to calmly shake for about a minute, each of us attuned to everything, judging if we should head for the doorways. Emma sat at her fountain, quite. The shaking stopped. “Wow,” Tom said, “That’s weird we both woke up before the earthquake hit.” I thought to myself, I probably woke you up due to my horror of watching the Brady family get some flesh eating Zombie disease.

Anyone else feel the quake?

OMG! I woke up this morning too and was jsut lying there and about 3 seconds later the quake started. Was around 6:30 am no? I have been in several small quakes since I moved here (so I am told) but I never felt one before and never knew they were happening. This one I felt. At first I heard a noise like something was moving in the house and with Marie in Tokyo I was scared that someone had broken in. Then I realized my bed was moving too and the sounds I heard were glasses and things shaking. I was so scared!

when i used to live in the sf bay area i used to experience the same thing too. of course i always just thought i was crazy because i'd never hear anything about it in the news the next day (and the internets didn't exist then like they do now).

That is too cool. I wonder if there was a connection of Carol's muscle moving under her skin and the earth quake?

:-)

No way! I had no idea there was an earthquake at all. At first I thought that was part of the dream you were talking about!!

You felt an earthquake!

I thought you never feel earthquakes.

Maybe your dream was caused by the impending shakes, like other animals predict weather and things - maybe monkey-zombie-dreams mean shakey-shakey.
