Boot to the head!

We aren’t even two weeks into the year and it’s already kicking my ass. This is my first post of the year. I’m working on my übberlist and Year End Summation. Neither are very close to completion. I have had very little time and whenever I make plans for fun stuff, something comes up to change plans or cause drama. Yesterday I played World of Warcraft with Orion and Malakai. It was my first character and first day. Some random guy challenged me to a duel, I figured I would lose since I barely knew anything about the game, but he kicked my ass and I just ran around getting hit. I think I hit him once. That’s how this year feels for me right now. I’m playing a fun game, but I don’t know what’s going on, I don’t have control and I’m getting pummeled and am not much more than a moving target.

I’m sure I will improve in my abilities to play this game and I hope my 2006 begins to improve too.

online bullies are one of the reasons i hate online games. there are others (such as the fact that i become a total and complete computer zombie) but this is definitely enough for me not to play them. although i do remember that there was a time that i was trying really really hard to get you to try final fantasy xi...

I'm totally lost when it comes to those games. So challenge me and then you'll get your chance to plummet someone.

Like your icon. It's cute.

It's an addiction. I played once, and I'm still tempted to play again. I know I shouldn't, because it will take over...

I found it easier to work with the keyboard than with the mouse when I played: I found it easier to get the hang of moving, repositioning myself and fighting. With the mouse, I was just awkward and kept ending up facing away from my opponents! I fought wolves and goblins, and then got killed by trolls. My character is still a ghost, sad and unressurected.

Sorry to hear about all the drama and upset getting in the way of your much-needed downtime. Indeed, here's to 2006 improving rapidly!

Master of all that is Warcraft
Monkey....You will be a Warcraft force to be reckoned with. And just think, on the day you "sucker" me into play with you- you can kick my ass. I miss playing video games on Sunday with you. Remember me always.

P.S. Can you develop the skill of "Baking" (like muffins and cakes and things) in the World of Warcraft? I'm planning my strategy against etBlackbird.
