Thank you!

Thanks to all the people who commented with supportive wonderfulness. I am still employed and my meeting with Mr Regional went better than I ever thought it could go... Why didn't I imagine a certain asshole being fired. Mr Regional apologized for the voice mail he left me, which was a complete shock. The trouble maker still hasn't said a word to me. It should be interesting since he is the head of creative and I am in charge of support for his whole group.

In case you are wondering I am still going to send my resume to six apart (LJ) I'm a bit overqualified for the job they are hiring for, but it can't hurt. Who knows maybe I am more underpaid here that I thought and I can work for LJ without a pay-cut. I'm not holding my breath.

Hey, no problem - that's what friends are for!

and good that not only did the meeting go well for you, but that your boss apologized for the voice mail from yesterday. Yay!

And good luck with the job hunting!

We have some support openings in SF as well, and there are many undersupported Mac users there (web development and creative/marketing are both there).

I'll find the req online tomorrow and ping you about it. :)

Sometimes I wonder if the software developers at Six Apart can read our private/protected entries if they want to, like maybe the text isn't encrypted in the database, and of course the developers need access to the database since they're developers.

although i'm glad things turned out to be ok, i really do think you should move on. you've been complaining for some time about this job and no matter how many wonderful people you work with (such as itsolivia) i really don't think it has a good effect on your psychic well-being. your a wonderful person monkey. you need to find a company that appreciates you.

I agree with Kaiser. You deserve a place of employment that will recognize how talented you are. Unless they fire "you know who" and give you that job with a HUGE pay raise.

An LJ job? That's sort of like a heroin addict working in an opium den, isn't it?
